On 27 October 2020, National Arterial Highway Maintenance Management Evaluation Inspection Team of the Ministry of Transport inspected SMC Ultra-Thin Wearing Course Preventative Maintenance Site of S103 Road Project (now 244 National Road). The Project was undertaken by NXCC and selected as an innovation demonstration site of Ningxia Highway Management Center. Chen Jun, Deputy Director of Ningxia Transportation Department, Zhang Yongjun, Party Secretary of Ningxia Highway Management Center and other group members were present during the inspection. Deputy general manager of NXCC Dou Zhanshuang reported to the Evaluation Inspection Team on behalf of the company with the assistance of central laboratory.
Dou Zhanshuang further elaborated on the SMC Ultra-Thin Wearing Course in terms of “Four Advances” (Advanced Technology, Advance Process, Advanced Material, Advanced Equipment), features of construction technique, site control and awards won, during which the Inspection Team expressed its appreciation of the new technologies and innovation in project construction. The Inspection Team then had a watch over the SMC modified asphalt pavement of S103 road and affirmed its performance.
