Chief Engineer Wei Li of the Transportation Department of the Autonomous Region and his team visited Research and Experimental Base of Ningxia Road Maintenance Engineering Technology Research Center
Wei Li, Party Committee Member and Chief Engineer of Transportation Department of the Autonomous Region, and Yu Guirong, Director of Science and Technology Division, visited Research and Experimental Base of Ningxia Road Maintenance Engineering Technology Research Center in Qingtongxia for an investigation on August 5th, 2020.
Wei Li and his team first had a visit at the Technology Achievement Exhibition Hall, which was followed by Asphalt Comprehensive Performance Analysis Laboratory, Advanced Concrete Material Laboratory and Advanced Maintenance Material Laboratory. After an investigation into the equipment for scientific research and status of ongoing research projects in the Research Center by We Li and his team, research personnel presented their reports on software and hardware establishment, investment in research equipment, reserve of talents, scientific and technological achievements, and development planning of the Research Center.
Chief Engineer Wei Li affirmed that Ningxia Road Maintenance Engineering Technology Research Center, as the first technology research and development platform in transportation industry of Ningxia, has set an example for technology innovation in Ningxia’s transportation industry by highlighting talents and scientific research, making huge investment in purchasing research equipment and bringing in talents, and carrying out scientific research in a solid manner. He also expressed his appreciation of the contributions the Research Center made to the technology research and development in transportation industry, and commercialization of their achievements.
